Club Khamelon 01/04/2004

 (Gig Number 244ish)

This was our first trip to Club Khamleon in Kent. A friendly staff greeted us, and a Golden Tee machine. What more do you need? Oh yeah a GIANT dance floor and stage. This night happened to be "bring your own horn" night and half the Hudson High School band showed up to blow their horn (as Ed and Rob teach in the Hudson school system). These kids were pretty darn good. It should be even more fun in the future as school was still "on break" so none of the usual Kent folks were around. We did have a GREAT surprised when Fred the "Good Rockin' Daddy" (a fan for many, many years) showed up. Great to see you, and glad to hear things are going so well for you.

The one, the only, Fred "The Good Rockin Daddy". Fred goes back five years with the band. He says "we still got it." That's true, but the doctor says the new medicine should make it itch less.
After running out of room for people to stand on the stairs, the club busted out the lawn furniture. Hey! Just like a Chameleon, able to adapt to any situation. Lisa and Bryan (here with Dave) put the dance floor to good use.

Its a small world after all, Troy use to hang out with one of Dave's high school chums, and Kelly was Rob's college buddy. Oh man, now I can't get that stupid Disney song out of my head....
