3/12/04 Roses Run Country Club
Gig Number 256
|
 |
| WOW- we hadn't played since
Valentine's Day (one of the longest breaks we've had in YEARS). We dusted
off some rust, had some good laughs, and enjoyed some fish. This place is
beautiful. There were plenty of places to sit, and plenty of room on the
dance floor to boogie. We had a GREAT crowd. Phenomenal. I think everyone
there had seen us before, and that always makes us feel warm and fuzzy. We
helped Joe celebrate his birthday (in fine fashion with some help from Jill
and the hotties), we had numerous drummers come up and play, and to top it
off, in the end Kent State won their basketball game.

While we were slightly subdude as people finished their fish the firs
set, Jill and the hotties helped kick off the second set in style. |
 |
|
How rude of me. Did I say Jill? I meant "the amazing Jill" as she
helped keep the beat on Mustang Sally. |

| Speaking of amazing, Deb and Dan thought this
place was great. They also enjoyed a lovely lesson on changing guitar
strings on the break. There ya go... the $ugar Daddies: Entertaining
and educational... |
 |
| Always the first to show up. Lonnie and Brenda
did not enjoy the fish, but did enjoy some good music. Lonnie looks
phenominal for not having slept since 1997 (He's on the Snow Plow team for
Akron streets). As I travel 77 on a daily basis, I can say thanks for a
great season (never hit the ditch once this year) |
 |
| As mentioned before, we had a great fun loving
crowd, and this table was out to celebrate Friday, and Joe's birthday. |
 |
| This table had singers, dancers all of the
above at "La Familia De Red Bull..." |
 |
| Kicking back, enjoying some great food, some
good music with some old neighbors. |
 |
| Last but absolutely not least, were Larry and
Linda (which my Grandmother once called me which is weird
cause my name is Dave and my girlfriend was Lisa but that's another
story...) had a front row seat, and were sporting some fabulous
footwear. Thanks for hanging out all night. Hope to see you again. |
